Aw, thanks for asking. Monday SUCKED. I think I cried more than worked. I picked her up right at 5 and would not let anyone else hold her...not even DH. Then I cheated on Tuesday and let SIL and MIL take her for the day- MIL had surgery today so she wanted to spend the day with Layla since she wouldn't see her for this week while she's in the hospital. But though I cheated yesterday, I felt better taking her today.
I went this morning and told myself if she cried I was marching right out with her. Secretly, I was hoping she would cry. She didn't. When she saw the main teacher she smiled and giggled. So I left her there today and only cried a little.
Tomorrow, if she cries I'm marching right out there with her...
Just as a warning, the first week for me was easy. The second week I did ok until 2pm - then I wanted to quit work early and go get him. However, I still have those days. But I also have days where I tell him "I can't wait to drop you off this morning!" :-)
Just think - if she giggled it means she likes the teachers. That should make you feel better.

I feel this way too! Some days I hate leaving him and other days I am glad for the break. In the month that he has been going to daycare I only cried the first week and I don't think he cried at all. He is happy there and that makes me feel better.
I hope it gets easier for you!
