LMAO @ Work

My cubicle-mate has the same name as my SIL... we'll call them Maria.  SIL is pregnant.  Coworker has 5 kids already (not pg).

Yesterday I was on the phone speaking w/ a cousin, and I said "oh b/c since Maria is pg too..." and coworker says she's been getting funny looks today (and coincidently she decided to wear a materinty dress that doesn't look mat at all!  LMAO.

Let's see how long the rumors take to travel around the office.

I don't even recall saying this... coworker just brought it up... we were cracking up forever.

  • lol, can't wait to hear what kind of comments she gets.
  • let me add, I have noticed though, the more kids you have the more people think getting pregnant is a disease... like "what? more?? was is planned? you are brave!".

Yes!  I have heard similar comments at work towards others and I just don't get it.

Oh I'm sure!  I'm already hearing comments like "oh, perfect, twins, now you close shop and had 2 for the price of 1!"  Slowly I hint that "we'll try for the girl in a couple of yrs" to avoid STUPID/UNNECESSARY comments in the future.

Really, is it anyone's problem how many kids I have (w/in reason - not Duggar style)?
