Wasn't Poochie Hector Lavoe's wife's name? JLo played her in the movie "El Cantante."

Poochie was also a popular dog toy/cartoon character in the 80s, same era as Rainbow-Brite or maybe a little earlier.

What is it with people just skipping vowels lately? I know it's text speak, but that little girl will have that name forever. Reminds me of the poster yesterday that kept saying she pickd a name.

I actually know an Ambra - it's a form of Amber...Italian I think, but definitely stands out.

Loved it so much my grandfather called me Poochie until he died several years ago.
