I'm getting really nervous but also very excited that I'll be heading to K-town to wait for LO to arrive in a bit over 24 hours.
I'm not sure when I'll have internet after tomorrow (hopefully it's sooner rather than later, I like to keep up with you ladies. ) but LO will arrive anytime between the 2nd and the 26th (midwife won't let me go past 41 weeks) so keep your fingers crossed that everything goes well! I'll try and keep you as updated as I can. My labor buddy (VampyGirl) might have to post for me, so if you see her around on the board, say hi!
Re: I leave in a little over 24 hours! :)
Do you mind sharing more about this process? I am intrigued.
Does every pregnant woman have to leave home for a month? Where do you stay? Do you have to pay to stay there to wait for the baby? Is anyone coming with you? Do they just have to take off work for up to a month to hang out in waiting? What happens if you go into labor before it is time to go there to wait?
I live in the suburbs of Baltimore, so very much in a highly populated area. I am amazed at how different things are in different parts of the country (I knew they were different, just have never talked to people from such a small place).
(Erin, good questions! I want to know too.)
Good luck!!
