FYI : Im sitting here eating Sour cream & Onion chips and drinking white wine LOL
So Im just wondering how many of you have gone or started going to the gym since your LO was born.
I have a free 1 week pass to the Fitness World down the street and I just cant get off my but to use it. I only work 2 days a week and have no excuse b/c FI is at home durring the day too.
I dont have much to loose, but lots of flab to tone....
Re: Who's gone back to the gym ?
Not me and I'm totally ashamed. I keep saying that I'm going to go back to the gym and go to spin class, etc. The gym I used to go to even has a daycare in it that is good from everyone I know that uses it.
I SAH and have virtually no excuse to not go to the gym but I am lazy and would rather do something else.
I have no problem complaining about my flab though.
I've been asked too. I'm sorry but this stomach had to stretch out for two whole babies. Kills me every time they ask.
I go to the Y 2x a week for an hour at a time. They charge 4.25 an hour for drop in childcare and they are awesome! Since DD is an infant I sign a contract each season that she and I will be there at the designated times each week. It has been so helpful in that I have to go!
The other days we go around the neighborhood in the stroller for 30- 60 min.
I'm at PP weight but no less
My C-section belly looks around 12 weeks.
No gym here for me. I always sign up and never go. I have tried to do the 30 day shred a few times. I just can't manage to get myself to do it every day. The only time I have time to work out is after I put LO to bed and by then I'm exhausted from work and taking care of him. I really need to get my butt in gear.
I just read that some girls did the 30 day shred together on here in June. I wish I woulda joined that group. I need some motivation.
I recently started going to the gym again (thank God for the YMCA's daycare!), and I must say, I feel SO much better about myself already!
I haven't dropped any pounds or inches yet (damn you, mint chocolate chip ice cream in the freezer...), but I feel so much more energized. I feel more rested in the mornings, even after getting up with DS for his 3 AM feeding, and I'm getting more done around the house.
Going the first time is definitely the hardest -- but once you do, you'll feel so much better. Good luck!!
