Worried!

I am really freaked out that my child at 21weeks was in 88th in percent. I didn't know what that meant until my sister in law told me. I am so scared. Am i at risk of having a really heavy baby???? The grandfather of my son was 11lbs when he has born. I was only 6lbs and my boyfriend was 8lbs. need some advice.

    Honestly... Don't worry until you have to. DH was 8lbs and I was 3lbs and LO is measuring at just under 6lbs. He seemed big at 20 weeks too. You have a loooooong way to go.

    Like the pp said, you still have a while to go and things can even out over that time period. I really wouldn't worry about it to much right now.

    Dont worry......(easier said than done I know)

    LO was measuring at 3lbs 8oz at 32 week visit and her body 17th percentile and head 77th.....was scarred crazy

    at her 34 week ultrasound she was 5lbs 9oz and her body in the 65th percentile and head 68th

    in two weeks she either changed a lot or...... ultrasounds are just an estimate. Im sure they will monitor u closely as u get further but baby still has a lot of growing left and sometimes different areas grow differently. No baby is the same. Try to stay positive and good luck!
