Had My Shower!

I actually enjoyed it! my SIL took into account my feelings about about baby shower games and instead had each of the guests design a page that ended up in a scrapbook for LO's first year (I love photography and most things associated with it, so I thought this was awesome!) While people were making their pages, I got to open gifts, so that way not everyone was staring at me! MIL went above and beyond with her generosity, getting us clothes, a crib and a travel system (was not expecting that!). we got a few adorable handmade items,a diaper cake that my SIL made and the rock n play...or whatever it's called :P oh and the gift that my mom sent me made it just in time for the shower! guests were also giving door prizes for having the closest b-day to my due date. I kind of wish I wasn't so worried about it before hand, the shower turned out awesome!

my extended family didn't come, which was to be expected (they live 2 hours away and work) But LO got more than enough! he has a free pass to come anytime now!

alright I am exhausted, socializing really takes it out of you!

    Thats great! Glad you had a good time and LO got lots of fun stuff! Having the guests make scrapbook pages is a really neat idea! I also really like the door prizes by the guests birthday.
