    I always give both. a veggie for the main meal and fruit (sometimes with cereal) for dessert

    Whatever I feel like. Usually some cheese, some berries, some puffs....

    If I've got something open I'll do that. Hell, we do veggies for breakfast. Kids don't care when they eat the veggies vs. the fruit!
