How long did it take for your nipple cracks to heal?

I feel like I am very slowly making progress but they still look like pretty big cracks. How long until they don't hurt anymore?

Mine were awful. My LC told me to use nipple shields for 2 to 3 days. After that all was good. If you go that route you need to pump after you nurse.

I think I wore my breast shields for like 1-2 weeks just to make sure they didn't get cracked again. Ha.
