Pregnant after having tubes tied?

My sister just called me to tell me that she thinks that she might be pregnant again. After having their twins (who are now a year old), she decided to get her tubes tied. She said that she was suppose to get her period in June, but it never showed up. I asked when her LMP was & she said 5/2/210. She has been throwing up, headaches, & tired.

So my question is: Does anyone know if it is possible to get pregnant after having your tubes tied?

    My aunt did. 

    ETA: It was a tubal pregnancy though. It ended up bursting, I believe & she almost bled to death. I'm not trying to freak you out or anything. I'd tell your sister to take a pg test & go to the Dr.

    Yes, there's like a 1 in 300 chance or something along those lines. I think that's what they were saying the other day on the show "I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant."

    It's on the rarer side but yes, it is possible. I know someone who was.

    But she has had not bleeding or pain of any kind. She needs to go to the Dr. but is scared to find out.

    Has she taken a pg test yet? She definitely needs to do that before anything else. Maybe she's not even pg, your body can be out of whack for a while after having a child so maybe her cycle isn't completely back to normal yet.

    When my aunt had her tubal, I don't think she even knew she was pg. I don't know too  much about it because I was really young, but I remember my mom talking about it before. I also remember her saying that she was in a lot of pain. I think she was bleeding internally when it burst though which is how she almost bled to death because she didn't even know what happened. GL to your sister, hope everything works out well for her!

    It is possible. It was one of the stories on I Didnt Know I Was Pregnant: your tubes aren't tied, they are cut, and can grow back together. They said it was a 1:300 chance.
