I am thinking about getting one for Austin's birthday. Does anyone have one for their LO???

Re: Water Tables???

  • I don't have a LO, but when I was a toddler teacher at a daycare we used one all the time!  In the summer time we'd use water in it outside, but we'd also fill it with things like macaroni and rice and hide small toys in it.  I think it had something to do with fine motor skills, but they just knew it was fun and messy.  :)

  • Caroline got one for her birthday. It's set up, I just haven't filled it yet.  It's actually a sand and water table.  Right now it's set up in the living room and she's having fun taking the toys in and out of it.  I think she's really going to like it once we've got it outside and fully functional.

When I taught Kindergarten, the kids loved the water tables, so I feel confident that this will be a long term toy.  Plus, this one has adjustable legs so we can raise it up when she gets older.

This is the one we have.
