39 week appt today with some progress!

At my last appt I was 1 cm dilated, 50% effaced and she was estimated around 6.5 lbs. Just got home from our 39 week appt and made some progress: 2 cm dilated, 75% effaced and her head is at -1/-2, so she is down there and ready to go, slight amount of bloody show with the internal which MW said is a good sign. Weight estimate is in the 7 lb range. Yay for progress

Congrats on the progress. I had my 39 week appt today also and am at 1cm dilated and 80% effaced. It was my first internal, so nothing else to compare it to. My babies estimated weight is 8lb's. I'm not surprised though since DS was 9lb 2oz. Hoping LO comes soon!

Nice!!!!! My baby had a growth u/s yesterday (and an internal) and he is weighing 8.3lbs!!!!! I am going to have a chunky baby vs. your teeny 6.5lb baby! lol.
