I actually cried a little as I read your story about getting to Spain. I get so emotional when strangers do nice things, and it was SO nice of that doctor to help you when she could have looked the other way.

Apart from that, I am SO. INCREDIBLY. JEALOUS. that you just got to spend a few days in my most favorite place in the world. I have been to all those places in your pictures a million times...ahhh...Espa?a! We were also there once while the Cup was going on- isn't it crazy?!?! And the Claritas....closest thing to them that I can get here are Leiny's Summer Shandies (they don't make Fanta Limon here- WTF?) I'm so glad that your horrible day was redeemed by a precious vacation for your entire family

I'm so glad you had a wonderful time after your hellish travel day. And I never knew about the infirmaries at airports. That's a good thing to know. I wish I had known this at Christmas because we ran into a similar situation with the diapers and DH had to go around and ask people for diapers.
