Declan can sit up (tripod sitting) for like, 10 seconds on average. Sometimes longer sometimes shorter. Would you write that down in the baby book yet or wait until he can hold himself up consistently?

Wow, I'm impressed that you write this stuff down! I'm not organized like that...
I'd maybe take note of it somewhere, then when he is sitting solidly, you can think back and decide it it "counts". I wouldn't have counted S's first smiles as such, but when I think back, they were.
