I told him last night how happy I am being on my own. I said that I have grown and realize that I will not put up with anymore crap from guys. When a guy tells you something, to listen, and don't think for a second that you can change him or that things will get better. Move on. I wasted too many years thinking it wasn't THAT bad, or that things would get better. I told him that I never would have found my strength and independence if he were still around. I am so much happier on my own.
