NBR: Want to scream...

Some of you may remember that I have had many problems with my wedding photographer. She finally sent me the prints about a month ago, minus 2 of them. BUT, she still doesn't have my album even close to done. The timeframe that she gave me for a completed album is up in about a week. I just got an email from her saying that it will still be several weeks before she has the page proofs done and then several more weeks for the album to be binded.

I have asked multiple times for a refund for the album. She refuses to refund me and keeps telling me to be patient because she just had a baby and work is not a priority for her right now. Ugh, so frustrated right now. I feel if she couldn't get the album done in time, she should have contracted out or refunded me. Is it ridiculous of me to think this? I just don't know what my next step should be.

Have you contacted the BBB? I don't really have any suggestions other than that.

I would give her one more chance to give a full refund, if not, tell her you are going to BBB. I would also see if she has a page on facebook and tell people about the problems you have had.

Honestly, I don't think it is that hard to do an album. I don't care if you had a kid, you should have thought about that before hand and turned down this job.

Good Lord that is a long time! I'd be furious as well, especially because you are asking for a refund and she is refusing AND she isn't even meeting her timeline in the first place. Yes, having a baby is a major event, but you would think she would fulfill her work obligations in a decent amount of time.
