Vaccines this am - sleeping all day, is it normal?

DD got vaccines at her 2 month appt today. She has been sleeping ever since (only waking up to eat). Is this normal? Will it affect her sleeping at night? 

That appt sucked! I'm glad it's over.

    normal.  Doubt it will affect her night sleep.

    i was told it was normal and that's exactly what happened in our house yesterday.  my poor guy alternated between screaming and falling dead asleep for most of the afternoon.  it was so heartbreaking!  if you don't already have some infant tylenol on hand, it might be a good idea to pick some up.  we gave him a dose in the evening and one overnight and that seemed to help with the pain and the fever he spiked.

    good luck!  shots are the worst :(

    That's exactly what DD is doing. She is either eating, crying (screaming is a good description) or sleeping. I can't wait until tomorrow so I can get some smiles:) I had Tylenol but it was recalled, so I will have to go pick some up today!

    I have heard that this is totally normal.  However, my DS turned into Mr. Cranky McFussyPants and only wanted to sleep on me or be grumpy and slept like crap at night for a few days.  Consider yourself lucky!  :)
