I had DS wrapped on me in a Girasol as I was browsing a thrift store on an army base in Germany. He was nursing. One of the ladies that worked there asked if I wanted a sheet. I politely said no.
She then told me there was a chair in the restroom. I said "Thank you for the information, but I'm fine." She said "We prefer you don;t do that here." I ignored that comment. A few minutes later she had another associate hand me a pillow case.
My father was standing right next to me and he looked at her and said "Are you serious? She's completely covered, do you want her to put the pillowcase over her sons head so nobody can even tell it's a baby?" She replied, "It makes some of our customers uncomfortable." My dad said, "Well a hungry child is very uncomfortable, and his screaming would make everyone else uncomfortable as well, get over yourself." He then grabbed my 2 y/o and walked out of the store. I of course followed.

Holy crap moody! Yah for your dad how awesome!!!
You should have given the first lady the pillowcase and told her that her face made you uncomfortable so she should hide it! lol
yes this
I think I would have had a hard time not telling her to put the pillowcase over her own head so she didn't feel uncomfortable.
Sorry you were in this situation but good for you sticking up for yourself and choosing not to shop there.
Yay for your dad too!! I don't think mine would have been as great. My dad is the one that told me to cover up in church....I told him Jesus was breastfed.
LMAO. Wow I love that!
Good for you and Grandpa!!!
