Okay. So here are the pictures of the bag from yesterday:
Now, the new part:
I made the project bags last night. They're drawstring closure, lined with poly poplin to be slightly slippery on the inside (no snagging yarn!). The bottoms are gusseted, and are attached to the squares you see in the pic above. The squares are structured to stiffen the bottom of the bags, and have snaps incorporated so that the bags can be snapped inside the tote for stability.
Not pictured is a small square zip-closing bag I made to hold various knitting tools like scissors, a gauge, stitch markers, etc. I forgot to take a picture of it and already put the camera away. It's pretty plain -- just envision a brown zippered bag, 10"x7"-ish.
I might make one more little project bag, sans snaps, if the mood so strikes this evening. But, you pretty much get the idea. I'm thrilled with how the whole thing turned out. It was a lot of work, but also a lot of fun to see my vision come together.
