For the longest time, I would make DD dinner (chicken nuggets, pbj, etc.) and she would happily eat it. Then my DH started coming home in time for dinner, and we made her eat what we ate (with a side of something we knew she'd enjoy). But now, DH has to work late again, and I'm back to "cooking" just for her. Nothing can have sauce. This is what she'll eat: steak, chicken, chicken nuggets, pb+honey or nutella, bagel, french toast, pancakes, grilled cheese, pasta with grated cheese, mandarin oranges from the can, apple slices with pb, hummus and chips. As you can see, there's no veg in there, and the options are pretty redundant. Please give me some more ideas!

My DD will eat:
Breakfast foods: waffle, pancake, bagel, toast, french toast sticks
Lunch foods: pb & j, deli ham (rarely), pretzels, sun chips
Dinner foods: taco meat with cheese and light sour cream, pasta with sauce and parmesan, sometimes I can cut chicken very small and mix it in with something like rice or pasta as long as it is covered in a sauce she likes.
Fruits: blueberries, strawberries, watermelon, banana (sometimes)
Veggies: NONE
Other foods she'll eat: yogurt, granola bar, dried berries, quaker rice cakes (blueberry or cheddar), and of course sweets but she doesn't get them often at all.
It is very frustrating trying to provide a variety and still make sure she is getting enough to eat. I try to offer her whatever dinner we have each night and if she doesn't eat it, I'll only let her have something nutritious like fruit or yogurt if she asks for it (I don't offer alternatives).
My 2yo DD used to eat anything and has recently hit the picky stage in a major way. This is what she eats:
Breakfast: waffles with peanut butter, oatmeal or cheerios. Any and all fruit.
Lunch: Greek yogurt, hummus with baby carrots and crackers, peanut butter and jelly crackers, mac and cheese, turkey hot dogs, pizza bagels
Dinner: usually Yogurt, occasionally pasta (last night she ate 2 butternut squash ravioli and that was it), peas (fresh, frozen, cold, warm any way at all!), occasionally cucumbers, she will eat rice and beans and sometimes corn.
She will not eat meat, potatoes, sandwiches, cheese unless it's mac and cheese, veggies other than baby carrots, peas or corn. She would eat snacks until she turned into one, but I really limit the "junk food" to craisins, raisinettes, the occasional cereal bar, fruit, hummus. I'm hoping this passes and she returns to eating everything again some day!
