Chafing 'down there'

So I just started having a chafing from where my panties touch my inner leg (thigh) and it hurts.

I am thinking it not helping its summer and I have more discharge there.

If I wear a panty liner its a bit drier but that itself chafes the same area.....

Welp!

Re: Chafing 'down there'

  • I actually saw a chaffing lotion at the store the other day tha tI considered buying becaus eI know that will be me VERY shortly since it happened with dd. That is my only solution i have thought of so far.

  • Ugh. I am with you. I have been battling with this since about week 20. It really hurts and then it turned into an external yeast infection for me. Definitely changing underwear or wearing liners helps! :)

I hear ya!! OUCH! Mine happens from my capri maternity jeans. The inside seams rub on the top of my inner thighs & it kills!

  • Monistat makes an anti-chafing gel that rocks. It helps sooo very much.
  • So glad to know I'm not the only one!  Mine started last week, but has cleared up quite a bit.

For me...changing panties frequently and wearing loose cotton clothing did the trick.  It flares up again when I wear my jeans or work pants.

  • Yea I will need to change panties more!

I bought mine through Amazon. Best stuff ever! It does rub off after a while, but just reapply it and you'll be good to go. Very soothing and dries like a powder.

  • The Mama Spanx has helped out tremendously. Pants aren't comfy for me so I live in dresses and with the warm weather this has helped out a ton!!!! And keeps me from bulging which is also really nice!

  • Glad to see Im not the only one with this problem. Out of desperation I put on my hubby's boxer briefs. It may sound silly but it really helped-especially when wearing a skirt or dress.
