Natalie always makes our short list, so I do like it. But ultimately, I think it's too popular for my taste. Also, I don't care for the nickname "Nat". It does have a nice classic sound though, and despite its popularity, I haven't met any Natalies that I can recall.

We're considering it. We want to use the nickname Allie, but don't really love Allison, Alexandra, etc. My mom suggesting naming her Natalie and calling her Allie since it's the ending of the name.

This is my DH's chocie for a girl also. I tell him the only Natalie I knew or can think of was the one on the Facts of Life, who was chubby!! I am not sure I want that name!

Wow lots of good critiques! I love the idea of using Allie as nickname! Never thought of that but since I don't like Nat or Natty either it is a good option!
