Babies: 3 - 6 Months

I_elizabeth and Diana27

Not sure if you remember but I posted about the nap nappy awhile back and I think we were all in the same boat in terms of transitioning LO from the RnP and/or swaddling.

Well - on Sunday night I tried that "Magic Sleepsuit" that I bought (DD is wearing it in my siggy pic) and she slept 6 hours the first night.  And that is only b/c we spent 2 hours trying to get her to sleep both swaddled and unswaddled in her RnP.  The next 2 nights she slept 12+ hours!!  Unswaddled.  In her crib.   I couldn't believe it.  She woke once both nights but DH soothed her back to sleep in less than 5 mins.

Its too early to tell if the suit is the answer but 3 nights in a row is a good start, considering DD wouldn't last 5 minutes in her crib or unswaddled!!!

  • omg that's awesome! I need to google this sleepsuit, is that really what it is called?

LO is in his crib right now, he's been sleeping for 10 minutes. I'd be shocked if he slept much longer.

  • Ok I found it, this looks cool. Do you find she gets hot in it? It seems warm, but maybe that's part of the magic. What does she wear under (anything)?

  • I was worried about that too - if you read the FAQs on the website she addresses that.   We had to put a window A/C unit in DD's bedroom b/c her room is in the front of house and gets full sun all day long.  We have central AC but her room just never got cool.   But we still keep the temp at about 72-73.   We put her in a onesie the last 2 nights but I have also put her in the suit in just her diaper.  She has not been warm or sweaty or anything like that.

The feet are open to help dissipate LO's body heat and while the outside of the suit is microfleece, the inside lining is thin cotton and feels cool against the skin, so I think that helps too.

I was and still am reluctant to say its "magic" but it seems to really be helping.  The first time I used it for a nap, DD slept for 3 hours.   The next nap she only slept 45 mins but both were in the crib.  I think you definitely have to use a few times for LO to get used to the feeling.

GL and let me know if you try it!!

PS  I have talked to the inventor over the phone and email and she personally told me that if it didn't work for DD, to send it back for a full refund.  So what have you got to lose, except the $5 shipping fee? :)

  • SHUT UP!!  That is awesome!!! Yes  I have put DD in her p-n-p for the past 2 nights and she has been sleeping like a champ in it...but the crib...still a no go, LOL.

My Mom says she just has me wrapped around her finger...which, hey she does...she's muh baby girl and I loves her!  LOL.   I so gotta google this suit.

I saw a reply in a previous post and saw your DD pic...and I was like - woah, wonder if that was the suit she was talking about...LMAO.

  • We need one of these!!!
