How often is your little one nursing? We're now only nursing 2-3 times a day. I offer throughout the day but my little one is just not that interested anymore and I don't want to supplement with formula unless I have to. We've made it this far and I'm hoping to continue nursing till she's at least a yr.

DD is still doing 5x/day right now. We're going to be adding a 3rd solid meal in a couple weeks though so she might drop down to 4x/day once we do that. I'm not sure, we'll wait and see what happens.

I'd say he nurses properly 5-6 times a day and has several smaller snacks as well.

Just offer more finger foods and more food at meals. Some kids just start the wean process them selfs. It doesn't mean they will totally quit BFing before a year either.

DD nurses before naps (2 or 3 each day) and before bed. She also nurses ALL NIGHT LONG. That has increased in the past couple weeks. I don't know what is going on. She also sometimes nurses other times...

4-5 times a day. We could probably do less, but I think I offer too often. We've got to work on it though because I go back to work in ~6 weeks and don't want to pump.

6 or 7 times I think. Don't discount the night time or short nursings in there. Even a 5 minute nursing counts.

DS BFs 4 X a day. When he wakes up @ 6, before his 1st nap around 8:30, between 11 and 12, then he gets a bottle of formula in the afternoon and then BF before bed. He's eating 3 solid meals a day and a snack sometimes. I'm lucky if he BF's for 5 minutes. He screws around a lot while he's bfing....

As a WM, I have to supplement with 2 6oz mixed bottles for daycare, but he's at 4 feedings a day now. Wake-up, 10-11AM, 3PMish, and bedtime at 7-8PM.

I think we might have the same child. DD nurses at before her first and second nap, once in the late afternoon, before bed and overnight. DD is in daycare though and gets bottles during the weekday. We are going to start switching those to milk a a year because I just can't keep up pumping three times a day at work. I'm not sure how it will go. DD is still very attached to nursing. We may be successful with the daytime weaning, but I don't see her dropping the nighttime anytime soon.
