A friend of mine lost her 14 year old daughter in a car accident yesterday. The worst part is that when she didn't show up her mother went looking for her and came apon the accident! Thankfully she did not see her as the police were already there! I know we should do these things everyday but so many times we just get caught up in life and forget the "little things". After I found out yesterday I just went home held my baby in my arms and bawled. I feel so incredibly lucky and blessed to have my family with me! Life is just too short! T&P please for this family!

I couldn't agree more. I lost my brother almost 10 years ago (we were both in college home for Christmas) and the last thing we did was argue with my parents about who was getting to drive the car (me to go to work at the mall and he to go out with his friends). He got the car...and we never get to see him again.

That's horrible!

One of my bridesmaid's lost both her dad and 15 year old sister thanks to a drunk driver 10 years ago this past May. Her mom barely made it and now it's just the two of them. It's incredibly sad and still affects them every day.

I lost a close cousin of mine a couple years ago and its not something that you ever forget or get over.

T&P to them. I was at a funeral last night for family friends who lost their 23 year old son on Saturday. He drowned while trying to save a friend. That funeral was heartbreaking. I swear these types of losses hurt 100x more since becoming a mom.

Thanks everyone for the T&P. I couldn't agree with you more! All I could think about last night is how a mother could get through something like this! My heart is just breaking for this family!

Oh I am sooooo sorry to hear about your friends daughter. That is the worst thing that could ever happen to someone, especially since she came upon the accident. I lost my brother and best friend in the same year, 8 years ago and it hurts every day. I tell my daughter several times a day how much I love her. It makes me so sad everytime I hear of someone else dealing with the loss of a child. And to be honest, as a mother, the most worrying I do is over the possibility of losing my child....aaahhhh!! It sucks! But I will certainly send out a prayer for your friend. HUGS!
