Touring Birth Center Today

I am super excited to tour my birth center today! My 1st appt is still a couple weeks out, so touring the birth center today is so exciting for me. DH is looking forward to it too 
Is there anyone else here who is using a birth center over a hospital? I actually have a list of questions to ask, which will help me decide if I want to go here or not. I'm about 97% convinced I want to use the birth center. 2% of that uncertainty is the drive, its an hour away, and DH is not much of a driver (he's good but hates it). He's from London and is just getting used to driving around town and still avoids the highway. I think it will be good for him, some good practice driving longer distances. He can't avoid it if it's something he has to do. He works from home so can successfully avoid driving much of the time.
I look forward to hearing about anyone who is using a birth center.

I'm using one. It's actually attached to a hospital. It is not IN the hospital, but a separate building with a separate staff.
I am closer to about 5 other hospitals, but I really want a birth center.
Are you going to Bay Area? I see you are in Delaware, which some parts are close to MD...
Yeah, our bc is like an hour away from us, too. boo... but it's 1/2 way between my job and my house.
I'm still on the fence. I REALLY want a water birth, and the hospital my OB delivers at isn't equipped for that. =( Let me know how your tour goes!
This Birth Center is in Wilmington, the only one in Delaware. There's a chance we'll move to the DC area during this pregnancy, is your BC near DC? 1/2 way between work and home seems to work out well!
