First Bloodwork

I have my first bloodwork in a few hours.

Did anyone have to fast for theirs?

    The most common tests they would have you fast for would be a blood glucose, lipid panel or for STD's.  I am pretty sure that STD is a standard test for all pregnant women.  HTH

    No fasting is needed for the first tests. I would drink some OJ because they take a lot of blood...well they did for me last time with my DS.

    You definitely do not need to fast unless your doctor specifically directed you to do so.  Hope everything goes well for you today! GL.

    You don't need to fast.  I think they just tell you that to be evil.  I have to drink TONS of water to get my veins to plump up.  I'm a horrible stick.
