Anyone else having issue with Diaper Champ?

Because ours keeps getting stuck when you open the lid. So, we cleaned it and stuff and it was working, now it's not. Cleaning isn't doing anything. The only way to get the diaper in is to open the entire top and put it in--therefore leaking the awful smell from within.

Anyone else having this issue? how did you resolve it? I really don't want to have to buy another one...

    I'm not trying to be a smarta$$ but mine does that when it's full.

    I have had no problems with ours.  As PP said, it won't turn when it is full, but otherwise it works great!

    I worked in daycare for 5 years and that's all we used was diaper champs. Unfortunately, in my experience when they start doing that they need to be replaced. (If it is empty and still sticking and you don't want to deal with it) I honestly do not like the diaper champ. I prefer the diaper genie if you do end up needing a new one.

    Yeah...it does stick even when it's empty...Ugh...guess I gotta head to BBRU...

    Yes, it's been getting stuck and harder to close in the past month, even when it's empty. I think I'm just going to use a regular garbage can.

    we had lots of problems with one of ours too - including mold, even though it was cleaned regularly. we got a diaper genie instead and are so much happier with it.
