Special thanks to Nessia for posting updates on baby girl! After cervidil, and almost 11 hours of pitocin at it's highest dose, I had zero progress, and had failed the induction. With severe pre-e they had started me on Magnesuim Sulfate, which they continue 24 hours after delivery. With my symptons and the time that had passed, our doctor decided to deliver via c-section rather than try and fail again at induction.
Our original birth plan included playlists, natural labor, and a calming environment, so we both stressed out a little. It took McKenzie a few seconds to cry, but she got a couple of good wails out! I got to touch her wrapped up for about 3 seconds before they wheeled her away and DH followed. I still have not gotten to see her (or get out of this bed!) but I'm hoping to see her around 1am.
Her lungs are healthy, she's not requiring any assisted breathing, and overall she's doing amazing. At 34 weeks she's the youngest preemie in the nursery and according to my nurse the only one not requiring too much intervention!
Thank you all for the thoughts and prayers! I can't believe I'm a mommy!!!!

It was great seeing you the other day even if it was just for a sec. You will have to bring her by the office someday soon.

She is adorable!!! And SO glad she's going so well! Hope you got to hold her last night -- that was my sister's hardest time with her little 34-weeker - it was over 24 hours before she got to see her little one.
And, of course, Congrats!!!
