I didn't know that it would regenerate itself. I just thought that once you lost it, it was gone. And I thought that happened when you were getting close to delivery.
Everything I've read said it could be days or weeks. They say it's more likely that labor is coming if there is blood in it, but no blood for me. It's just yellow/green.
I've always heard that it can regrow to a degree but now I'm not really finding info to back that up... hmmmm

I lost mine after my first internal which was 2 weeks ago. I don't think it has regenerated itself though because if so I would assume I would have lost it again after the other internals and I didn't. Who knows, though.
I lost mine 19 days before Addison was born. I freaked out when it happened because the only thing I heard about mucus plug's was from my friend who lost her's 24hrs before her son was born so I thought I was going to go into labor right then and there but that wasn't the case for me.
Your body is definitely getting ready and I'm anxiously awaiting the call!
I fearfully check my underwear every time I go to this bathroom for any indication of this event. It just sounds so gross! How exciting though that things are moving along!

I lost mine right before I went into labor, it was bloody too. Hopefully it's not long for you. Just to warn you- when you are in labor it gets a LOT worse. At least it did for me. I wasn't expecting so much blood. (Sorry TMI)
Mine wasn't bloody at all, which is why I don't think it means anything.
I'm doing my best to stay zen and not read into anything too much. I know I have no control over when the baby comes and I'm pretty much expecting to go late because if I expect anything else I'll just wind up disappointed!
I'll keep you all posted, I'm still working on getting the baby to drop!
