MY Confession: I've never read any of the books or seen any of the movies and I don't really have a desire to. Is that weird?

Our playgroup is going tonight as a mom's night out thing. They are having dinner and then going to see all 3 movies in a row! Clearly I am not going with them as I have never read the book or wanted to see the movies ;P

The movies kind of suck but the books really are good.
I was right there w/ you too, jwp, until Twilight came on Showtime the other day. I got sucked in and now I'm all geeked about all the stilted dialogue and awkward sexual tension in the movie. I'm going to get New Moon on PPV some Friday when DH is at work and DD is napping.
I would be there too if it weren't for my SIL. She lives 3 hrs away and is coming in to see it w/ me Friday. We're going practically the moment she hits town. We have our tickets already.
I can't wait!

Re: I have a confession...
I am SO totally jealous of you! A local theater is doing all three movies tonight for the price of 1. I am dying that I am not there right now!

I was that way until my SIL wanted me to go see the movie w/ her. So we rented the first and I liked it, saw the 2nd movie and really liked it.
Then she brought me her set of books. I read the whole set in just about a week. I loved it!
So, now I'm a Twihard :P
