Homemade wool dryer ball ?
I'm making my own wool dryer balls and once I did the first felting, I took them out of the dryer and noticed they have a funny smell. I am using 100% wool which I think is the right stuff. Is it normal for wool to smell a little odd after first washing it? Anything I can do about it or will the smell go away after a few washes?

There may be a good bit of lanolin in the wool. Mine never smelled.
