I shared our spinner art a few days ago and people seemed to like it. I've read a few posts that have commented on how hot it is. I thought this may be fun for your LOs. It's cold here so we haven't done it yet, but will plan to do it Saturday when it's near 90 again.
Make ice cubes as normal, but put some food coloring in the cubes. Put paper down on the table/driveway and let LO paint with the ice. I saw this on a website some where and though it may be fun. I hope it works!
*If you try this before Saturday, will you share your experience, please?
~~Anyone have any other fun art projects I can do with a 2 1/2 year old?

2011 Reading Challenge
i've done the ice painting with toddlers when i worked in daycare - it's fun, but it works better if you use regular paint mixed in with the water instead of food coloring (like tempra paint). the colors will show much better.
shaving cream with food coloring is fun too :-) let him swirl it, write letters in it etc etc
anything with glue - messy but terribly fun
body painting.
foot prints with paint (don't use too much - it is really slippery)
