Ok, so here's the thing. In light of all the ridiculous hype about the BG 4.0s that just came out, I was thinking about the 8 brand new BG 3.0s I have in DD's closet that I bought when I thought I would have 2 in BGs (DS grew out of them right after DD was born). I also have a bag of like 18 used BGs that a friend gave me that I will keep for DD.
So the question is, what do I do with the brand new, in package 3.0s I have? Sell them now? Wait until they are completely unavailable (and thus, coveted and then sell them? I don't want to hustle anyone, but I'd like to get close to what I paid for them. I bought them from cottonbabies but it was so long ago I don't have the receipt or I would send them back -- they're still in the original box they shipped in!
Re: Strategic selling of my BG3.0s??
Are they discontinued colors?
Besides that feature I'm not sure why someone would pay new prices for them when they can get the "improved" version for the same price. Unless they are the good (bright) colors or the 4.0 turns out to suck. But maybe that's me...
I think the fact that they are NIP warrants selling them to close to what they are worth anyway.
but also, like PP said though I don't think you could recoup all your $$ due to the fact that the 4.0's can be purchased and are the same thing, essentially.
This is almost verbatim what I was going to suggest
Excellent Suggestion. I'm debating if I should try CL, SS, or DS. I've had some NB stuff on CL and not getting any hits.
I just sold some on my local board for $15/each. They were brand new and still in the package. I just decided that I didn't need that many, and that I would rather have some other options.
I think $15 is still a good deal, because you don't have to pay shipping, and you aren't required to purchase x amount, KWIM?
