I'm trying to pack for our 8-10 day vacation and I'm not sure how many cans to bring. FWIW we use the up&up version of enfamil gentlease, 24oz can. Thanks!
Bring 2. Although, it should tell you on the can how many ounces it makes, then you can multiple and divide by the days to see if it's enough. We go through one of the 30+ ounce cans a week I think, although it may be a bit more than that.
I'm leaving for vacation on Saturday and I'm taking 2 cans. Sometimes it lasts us about 1.5 weeks but he actually just went through a can in about 6 days (growth spurt maybe?) so I'm going to take an extra just in case.

thanks guys! I was figuring two cans, but I wasn't sure...he's eating some pureed foods, but not tons so I don't have an exact "he eats X every day"...darn, I have to go visit target again : )
We're leaving tomorrow for a 5 day trip and I'm bringing 2 cans. But I think my cans are smaller than yours. We're driving though and I figure it doesn't take up much space. Remember you can always run to the store (if you are in the states and if you use most common formulas) if you run out. I'm keeping that mantra in my mind as I get ready for the drive/trip. <<If I forget something, I can drive to Publix or BRU and buy it>>
Where are you going?
After 2 m/cs, dx October 2008 with hetero factor v leiden & mthfr & low progesterone; third time was the charm - BFP 3/19/09 on first cycle of clomid.
With my older two, a 3 lb can from Sam's Club would last us 3-4 weeks (when they were just taking formula - before starting solids). I'm always over-prepared, so I'd bring two cans just to be on the safe side.
Re: How long does a can of formula last you?
I'd bring 2 just in case. One can normally last us about a week and a half?
ETA: Emmerson also eats baby food three times a day per pedi so our formula count is a bit off
