side-car crib and nursing ?

first. how in the world has it taken me so long to figure out that you can side-car a crib! we just did it last night and it was THE BEST! i have my own space in bed and corbin can sleep sideways all he wants! haha our bassinet sucked because i would have to get up, get him out, nurse him, wait for him to drift off back to sleep, and if i was still awake i had to get up and put him back in the bassinet and hope he didnt wake up. ANYWAY, how do you make it work when you have to switch sides when nursing? do you pick up your baby and lay him on the other side of you? or do you crawl in his crib and lay so he can eat on the other side? [im only kidding about that last question!] but really. i just ended up feeding him on one side and then let him nurse on the other once he woke up in the morning.

    We didn't use the side car, but with a little practice I was able to nurse from both breasts while lying on my left side.  I just held them in position for DS, if that makes sense.

    I just do the 'hug and roll' (Friends anyone?).  She always falls asleep again after nursing, so I just pick her up (under her neck and butt) and roll myself so I can put her back in her crib.  She doesn't wake up.
