I'm just starting mine, but I'm guessing I should just use the carry-on wheelie bag from my set?
That's exactly what I decided to use... between my clothes, DH's clothes, LO's clothes and blanket, and toiletries.. it just makes it easier. Also since we'll be carrying pillows in.. I figure at least this way the rest of the "stuff" can be wheeled in.
We are using a wheeled bag (not the largest one we have one step down from that) so we'll have room for my stuff, DH's stuff, LO's stuff, and room to take extra's home from the hospital.
That's what I am using for my stuff and the baby's. DH will probably use a smaller separate bag for his things because he will be running back and forth and can switch clothes out, etc.
I'm using the carry-on size suitcase that rolls. In my mind all along I thought I'd just use a small bag. However, I soon realized I'd be packing a lot more than what would fit in smaller bag.
I'm using a tote, carrying my pillow and bringing an additional empty bag. I was told that my hospital lets us take anything disposable home with us, so bring an extra bag to fill up with diapers, pads, etc.
Re: How big is your hospital bag?
Mine is a weekend bag so about the size of a carry on duffle bag.

That's what I plan on using.
ETA: I will have a separate bag for LO.
