DD just will not nap in her crib anymore!! Only on me. She used to with no problem & sleeps in it all night with no problem. What the heck? I don't know what has changed. Help!
maybe she is hitting a growth spurt/cutting a tooth and needs comfort. DD did this last week and it drove me NUTS! then her second tooth popped up and she went back to sleeping in her crib. good luck!!

Growth spurt? Keira has been doing this for about a week. We have to put her in the stroller; if we want to get her to sleep and that doesn't always work!
Tegan went through a phase like this right after she turned 6 months old. Turns out I was trying to put her down in her crib before she was ready to nap and so she'd get upset and then wouldn't settle down for a nap unless I held her.
Now, when I see her tired signals I give her another 15-20 minutes of play time and then I lay her down in her crib. She goes right to sleep and takes a 1.5-2 hour nap twice a day.

Good idea! But she does give me cues and falls sound asleep on me but screams her head off when she hits the crib. So maybe a growth spurt you think? I didn't know they needed comforting during that. Thanks ladies! Either way, sounds like you are saying it's a phase.
