I have had the best "deal" since DS was born. I was able to work from home, only going into the office here in Austin 1 day a week.
When we found out we were moving out of state, I was hopeful that I would still be able to telecommute.
NOPE.
Really disappointed. The President said it was not a reflection of my performance, but that as the company recovers from the recession (i.e. continues to lay people off) it is their only option at this point, yada yada.
I'm worried about what I'll be able to find to do now. It was a perfect situation. Grr.

Too bad you couldn't "forget" to tell them you moved and keep telecommuting and just be "sick" on the days you were supposed to come into the office.
