New Here and a Question

Hi ladies!

 

Pretty new here.  My husband and I have a little baby girl C.  (hopefully she shows up in my signature line... :)) We live in Addison, but I work in the City.  I'm an addictions counselor, my husband is a cop.

 

I was looking for hotel recommendations for a romantic weekend.  We want to go somewehre lavish and spoil ourselves.  Where have you been and what were your experiences?!

    The Soffitel was wonderful- had in room massages too and walking distance from all the best on Mich Ave/Rush. I picked going here (even though we live downtown) because I love the feather beds.

    The Amalfi was just ok.

    Four Seasons or the Peninsula, both have good spas and in room massages.

    If you want to splurge and go lavish then you want the Elysian Hotel.  Brand new 5 star luxury hotel in Chicago, and it would be my top pick if I was going to spoil myself for a romantic weekend.

    I'd recommend the Omni and the Hotel Allegro--both are great getaways!

    The InterContinental Chicago right on Michigan Avenue is a beautiful hotel. They offer in-room massages as well. Definitely stay in the Historic Tower if you have a choice.
