Let?s start with Thursday....
My newest little "nephew" Ryan James was born via scheduled c-section.

His parents are also our god-daughter Carlee's parents and our very good friends. She found out she was pregnant 2 days before my IUI so I?ve been lucky to be able to share the whole experience with someone so dear to me
We went to visit them @ Baptist @ about 12:30 and then headed over to the OB's for our appt. @ 2pm. I knew my OB would not be there since he was OOT until today so I saw another Dr. in the practice who was great (also saw him at 35 weeks). He sent us over to the u/s room to check on the baby's position since he had been breeched since 25 weeks. On a positive note we got to see this cute little 6.5lb guy....

On a not-so-great note we found out my fluid levels were REALLY low. So the Dr. was a bit freaked out and told me had they been just a tad bit lower I would have had a baby that day. He told me to drink a lot of water since apparently I was a bit dehydrated too and he wanted me to go for an NST on Saturday. After leaving @ 5pm the nurse called and said he wanted me to come in Friday instead for another u/s. For the next 24 hours, my dear husband, who I now call the water Nazi, was up my ass to drink water all day. It paid off because the next day my fluid was up significantly. NST was cancelled.
Saturday, I had a wedding. I only had 2 left before going on "maternity leave" so I was looking forward to it. Now.....if you watch the news you probably heard about this:

Well that pretty girl in the white dress was my bride and thanks to the douche bag that decided to murder someone on Saturday night the wedding was ruined and Alexis and I were on the street till 2:15am. I will spare you all the long details but it was terrible and scary.
Sunday, I was in so much pain from the night before I did nothing but lay in bed all day!
Today, I had my 37 week appt.
My OB was back and I was happy to see him. He wanted me to have another u/s today to check on the fluids and thankfully they increased a little more from Friday and everything looks great. They haven't done any internals yet so I'm not sure what if anything is going on down there but I'm assuming they'll check at my next appt. Till then I'm ready for him to come out. Ever since he turned around his head has been pressing down on every nerve down there and it's been painful. The pool has been my BFF since going there gives me some relief. We have everything we need for him and now that Ryan is here we are even more anxious to meet our boy. ![]()
So that's my long update if you've made it this far thanks for reading!
Re: The last 4 days have been nuts!! (long but PsIP)
Wow, that poor bride. I cannot imagine. But how great that you got through it and your fluid level improved! Well done with the water intake!! Can't believe how far along you are.
Tania
wow, you are a saint for staying so long at the wedding being as pregnant as you are and especially with the scare you just had! I hope your bride appreciates you
Congrats on the new addition to the family!!!!
So glad your little one has decided to flip over!
Hope your fluid stays up - don't forget to drink lots and lots of water, especially with this crazy heat!!
