I guess I was feeling lonely last night so I signed up for a free 3 day trial of Match.com. Then after I started looking at profiles, I remembered why I don't sign up for these sort of things. All the men are looking for "slim/slender, athletic or average" women and I am none of the above. So, now I feel lonely and unattractive. Not a good way to start my week. Damnit.

Re: I don't know why I bother
what they mean by all those requirements?
i'm a shallow jerkface, don't date me!
Seriously, F that. There are plenty of men out there who can appreciate your body the way it is now, however it looks. At least, this way, you have a way to know they suck without even talking to them!
hey i did that last night too!!!
i was like why not....and of course it's all old men or men who want stick figured people

Honey, you are doing SO SO SO good on your weigh loss! Keep up that postive work!
And,um, men are jerkfaces!
Honestly, I feel the exact same way!
I have never been comfortable in my own body, but when h left I was at my highest weight (same as 9 months pregnant, ew). I blame this partially for him leaving which I do realize is rediculous, but it honestly does not make me comfortable with the idea of thinking.
I have a goal of losing weight, and am slowly working on it. By your ticker, it looks like you are doing a great job!!
My goal is to be comfortable with my body, and happy with myself and dd, before trying to date.
With that said, there are definately guys out there whole like women who are not 'stick people'. You just have to find the right one.
I think at some point or another we all feel like we are going to be single forever.
Don't let what some people say get you down. I barely even look at that part of a person's profile on match.com. I just signed up on Wednesday night and I don't have a lot of high hopes for it, but it gives me something to do and if I have a few dates here and there that's a good thing.
Hang in there! The best thing you can do is stay positive and stay focused on YOU and your goals. Feel free to PM me if you ever want to check in about your diet. Nutrition Counseling was the degree that I graduated with and I know quite a bit about diet plans
