i was wondering the same thing. i'm thinking of trying the new orleans fertility institute (on causeway blvd) if they deliver at st tammany hosp. i'll probably go after this cycle if it's another no.

me too...I read in a magazine that Dr. Steven Taylor is one of the top doctors in fertility.
I went to FINO for about 9 months and have nothing but great things to say about their practice. I was at the Causeway location, but know they have a Mandeville location as well. I went to Dr. Dunnaway, who I loved. I don't think he practices on the northsore however. Most of there drs are great. I have a friend who sees Dr. Lu and loves him. I think they're all pretty good.
ETA: Post katrina and post-oschner embryo storage debacle, I believe they are the only fertility clinic in the city.

As an FYI, once an RE gets you pregnant, they transfer you back to your OBGYN. They general would not see you through your entire pregnancy, but only a few weeks into your first trimester.

Really? I never saw any noticably pregnant ladies in there the whole 9 months. Maybe its more common on the north shore office where there are fewers OBGYNs in the area?

I go to the Fertility Institute (actually been going there since just before Katrina) and I see Dr. Peter Lu. He's actually the top fertility Dr in the city now and he's at the new orleans office and the Mandeville office on some days. Dr. Lu specifically told me that he does not deliver babies. I'm not sure how the other Drs work, but I have never seen any pregnant women in the clinic either. In fact, I think it would be unethical.

the site for them (https://www.fertilityinstitute.com/html/contact.html) says you will stay with your dr full term. i think they have OBs that specialize in fertility as well as re's on staff.
