Period-like cramps...normal??

I have been having these since I woke up this morning. No spotting or anything, just feel like I'm getting my period, lol. I don't remember this with my first so just seeing if anyone experiences this. I loved the idea of not having period cramps for 9 months....guess I'm not so lucky!:(

I've had cramps for the past few weeks. Unfortunately, I think you'll have them to look forward to until delivery!

OP, I posted about this last week! I've been getting them nightly for a couple weeks now. Yeah, they're totally normal and just par for the course. The nurse at the hospital who ran my childbirth class said to make sure to really, really, really over-do drinking water. A lot of times the cramps come from dehydration. HTH!

I've had these a few times too. I actually asked my dr about it at my last appointment and he said not to worry unless it's accompanied by spotting or they are extremely severe and last all day. He said that in the 3rd tri the baby does a lot of growing and sometimes it can be a little painful. Looks like its just another one of those fun things we pregnant ladies get the deal with

Yep I get them all throughout the day, nothing regular or horribly painful though!

I'm having twins so they were always concerned about preterm labor. I was told to call if you have period like cramps before 36 weeks because it could be a sign of preterm labor.

At 30 weeks, I had a period-like cramps for a couple of days off and on but no spotting, etc. I decided to call my OB and was sent to L&D for monitoring. The monitor showed that I was having contractions which I didn't feel at all. I ended up staying for two nights bc I was 1cm dilated. OB said I was dehydrated although I was drinking around 6 water bottles a day but due to the hot weather and being pregnant it wasn't enough. I would suggest you call your OB just to be safe.

I've been getting steady cramps for the last two weeks. Along with more BH and random painful contractions... but the cramps are steady. I'm thinking it is all part of the third trimester pains.
