We moved 3 weeks ago, when DD was 15 months old. To be honest, it was helll! We closed on both places, moved out and in all in one day and the kicker is that she was sick She had a miserable cold and just wanted to snuggle and nurse all day. She was a trooper though, we did have to nurse at the lawyer's office and once in the car, but she also did a lot of sleeping and no eating (because of the cold). That night Dh put the crib together in all of 2 hours and DD nursed/slept in my arms for those 2 hours (6:30-8:30). She was also up from 1-4am but I am not sure if that was the cold or the move. This was Friday. Sunday she was all better and LOVING the fact that we now have stairs. The transition was pretty easy really, but that day was very very long, and hot! Good luck!

We moved from Germany to Virginia when DS was 15 months old and he did fabulous. We packed our household goods about 15 days before we flew out of Germany and didn't get them back until about 15 days after we arrived in the States. I just made sure to have his favorite blankets in our luggage and we kept a backpack of his toys. We have moved quite a bit since he was born and I think that has helped him become so adaptable.
We kind of treat moving like a big adventure for him and the older he's gotten, the more excited he is about it. We moved this last time when he was 21 months old and he did great then too. The first few days in the new place are always a little rough when he wakes up because he isn't used to the new surroundings but aside from making sure he has his loveys and some of his toys, we didn't do anything special to prepare him.
we moved a month ago.. so DS was 13 1/2 months. He did awesome! I was afraid that he was going to have trouble sleeping in his new room but I set up his new room the same way as his old room and he did great.
Re: Anyone move when their LO was 12-15 months old?
Good luck!
