Endless periods

I'm on the mini-pill because of BFing, and got my first real post-partum period when Grady was 4 months old.  That was in May.  Since then, I have had SIX periods.  One ended last Wednesday, and now I seem to have it again.  I'm going to call my OB today, but was wondering if anyone on here had a similar experience.  I haven't missed one pill, and take it at the same time every night when the alarm goes off.  I'm going crazy here (and spending way too much $ on tampons!).
I don't know what's up with my siggy and I am too lazy to figure it out.

    this happened to me while i was on the mini pill as well.  i told my gyno and she said it's because the mini pill cant "hold a cycle well"  whatever that means lol. in other words, this is common with the mini pill. i was bleeding every 2 weeks, it was ridiculous. i stopped breastfeeding after 3 months and switched to orthotricyclen lo and have had no problems since! HTH.

    OMG, I thought I was the only one who had this issue! I was on the mini-pill as well and had the same problem, I would have AF for 5 days straight, have 2-3 days off and start again. I took myself off the pill because this happened for 6 weeks straight and I was exhausted. Since I took myself off I have had NO problems whatsoever! Good luck~

    Not to get too personal, but are you using any other method of birth control, like condoms?  I don't want to be on the pill anymore, but I feel like I don't have many options.  My OB did not recommend Mirena for me, so that's out.

    I don't know what's up with my siggy and I am too lazy to figure it out.

    I'm on the other side of this boat! I'd love to see AF to confirm that I am not pregnant! Plus, TMI TMI, if I were bleeding that often, I wouldn't have to have sex. I know, I'm a loser.

    Yes, I'm bleeding all the time.  In my case, I'm not sure if I'm still bleeding from delivery or have a period.  I've never stopped bleeding post partum.  And I BF.  I've asked my OB about this and she says everyone is different and hopefully my pill will help even me out.  It's helped a little bit but it seems I'm on my period every other week.  Geesh.  I feel your frustration!

    I had the same problem.  My OB up'ed my dose of the pill.  Instead of being put on a low dose, he increased it.  I haven't had a single period yet.  I should be getting it soon!
