I'm a little bored and loved these posts when I was in 3rd trimester, so take it for what it's worth...
~ Boppy. Even though I don't BF, it gets used every single day. It's awesome for feeding baby without making your arm feel like it may fall off, helps us with tummy time and a great way to prop LO up after a feeding and for play time.
~Mylicon Drops. Always have them on hand, seriously, always!
~ SwaddleMe's. I never got the hang of using a receiving blanket, and most of them are too small anyway.
~ The Seahorse. This toy is amazing! DS gazes at it as he's falling asleep and it really helps settle him down if he's restless.
~FP Rock N Play. We use this at night instead of the basinett that we bought. DS had Reflux and having this for him has seriously changed our lives.
~Cloth diapers as burp cloths. The actual small strip of material that they sell as a burp cloth is kind of a joke, IMO. I suggest having about 10 cloth diapers...I like the Gerber tri-fold ones.
Thats all I can think of for now. GL, Mama's!
Re: Things we love~from a 0-3'er
I did not take it to the hospital, but it would of been nice to have. I didn't feel like lugging extra. unnecessary stuff up there.
i brought my boppy to the hosp sine i was bf-ing. if you are going to BF, then it cant hurt to bring it, goood luck
2nd timer butting in!
i like your list
mylicon drops saved us from a lot of sleepless nights, they worked really well for DD. LOVE our boppy, and DD still sleeps with her seahorse from time to time! we need to get DS his own!
as for swaddleme's, we got by just fine with receiving blankets
OMG yes to the boppy even if you don't BF! I use it all the time, and everyone that comes over and holds her uses it too.
THE SEAHORSE IS MAGICAL!! Not sure how bedtime would go without it. I keep extra batteries for it next to my bed because I don't want to find out
Also agree with the diapers as burp cloths. I keep them all over the house, and wash them constantly. I think I have like 15.
ETA: I also bought waterproof pads that you can just throw anywhere. I keep one on her changing table. That way if she pees during a changing, I don't have to change the entire changing pad cover, I can just throw the little one in the hamper. I also keep one next to my bed, and I just change her on my bed at night. I found them at Target, here's the link.
I took my boppy to the hospital. It was totally worth hauling it (dh brought everything up for me anyways!) since I BF. But I have since discovered that My Brest Friend works out a little better for BFing. It fits much more snugly to your middle, so the baby doesn't fall down into the gap between boppy and your stomach.
And a Moby wrap. It's definitely the best carrier I have for a newborn.
i'll add to this one! things we love-
boppy! yes, this is awesome. i brought it to the hospital and have used it every day since.
our pnp. i have it set up in the living room and she loves it in there!
snap n go stroller - its so lightweight! i love being able to keep her in the car seat (especially if she's sleeping) when we go places.
homedics lullaby sound machine aka the baby crack machine - she LOVES the projection on the ceiling and we occasionally use the sounds too.
fisher price my little lamb swing - i wish they made a bigger one for adults haha this thing looks so comfortable and she loves that it swings from side to side.
GL ladies and enjoy the remainder of your pregnancy
This may sound really stupid, but here goes.
What are mylicon drops? Where can I find them? I looked at target this weekend and couldn't really find them.
Thanks for your help.

They are gas drops and Target has them, sometimes they are in the medicine section as opposed to the baby section.
They're in the baby section at Target. They are kind of hard to find, but it's a green box. They are gas drops and help so much. Once I switched to formula, I just put a few drops in each bottle. Keeps it from getting so foamy when you shake it up, and cuts down on gas.
THIS! the boppy in the hospital helped us not only with trying to BF but for us and anyone else that visited and was scared to hold DS, the boppy kinda helped to lay him on and made us and our visitors more relaxed about holding him.
Also the Moby....DS loves it and my house has never been so clean as this is what we do when he has his crabby time every night, we put him in the moby and clean!
I have it in addition to all of the others. I use everything. every day, except for the bassinet. We only use the RnP for night sleeping and we bought it after he was diagnosed with AR. So, probably not needed if you end up with a happy back sleeper.
I love my boppy and yes I brought it to the hospital with me...however- it wasn't that useful while I was there b/c I was a bit sore and found it most comfortable to recline in the bed when feeding DS. Definitely bring it though- everyone is different, and if you don't have it you might wish that you did
I agree with most of OPs list. I also like the
My Brest Friend for BFing.
Quick Zip Sheets (WAY better than the ultimate crib sheet imo)
Wubanub paci
Munchkin The Medicator (if your pedi recommends vitamins this is an easy way to get them in).
BIBS - even this young - I'd be changing spit up on clothes 10 times a day without little bibs
Happiest Baby on the Block DVD (we got ours from the library you don't need to own one)
Sassy Photo Album with no photos in it
Already have the seahorse and have been highly considering the FP rock and play thanks for recommending this again. Seems to be a good product from the sounds of it.
Oh, and I too have been grabbing the swaddle me blankets whenever I see them on sale. Love those.
Popping in from 3-6, great list OP! I have to add that the swaddle me is a good idea to keep on hand! My DD could break free of every blanket or A&A blanket we swaddled her in. The Kiddopotomus swaddle me came in handy when she would no longer stay swaddled in a regular blanket:)
oh wait thought of 1 more wonderful thing...White noise machine!! My DD hated her seahorse for sleeping..it just got her excited. We have a white noise machine that plays the ocean and it puts her to sleep just listening to it:)
This is a great list (lurking from 0 - 3)! I didn't see it in any of the responses above, but I would like to add the Moby. It's the only way my DD will sleep during the day. It's also a great way to free up your hands and get stuff done around the house while carrying your LO.
ETA: oops, just saw other people posting about it. Sorry for the redundant post!
The FP RNP was for sure the best purchase. The one thing you usually don't anticpate after you bring baby home is that they won't sleep on their back. I had to hold DS for teh first week or two, and then I tried his bouncer and he would sleep in that. However, it made me nervous due to the angle, his head would be flopped down and so I got the FP RNP since its tilted back more, and he sleeps in it every night!
I would buy it, but keep it in the box. If your LO will sleep on their back in their pnp or whatever type bassinet you have, then great. Return the RNP, if they won't sleep on their back its super easy to put together so you'll be all set.
