1. I'm about 19 weeks and still don't think I'm really showing and neither does DH. If anything I look like I go to too many kegers lately. I know everyone's body is totally different but I see all these pics on 2nd tri with girls that are only a few weeks ahead(or even the same week) of me and it's obvious that they are PG. When did you start *really* showing?
2. Everyone and their mother keeps asking me if I am feeling this kiddo move. What the heck does that feel like?! When I ask that everyone just says oh, you'll know. The doc said the same thing 2 weeks and ago and I still don't think I've felt anything. ![]()

Re: some really stupid questions from me
1. Probably 20-22 weeks. Up until that point I just looked fatter than normal. Awesome.
2. The very first time was about 15 weeks. I was driving back to work after lunch and it felt like butterflies. I didn't feel him again until probably 17 or 18 weeks and it still felt like butterflies or bubbles. And then eventually it felt like he was using my liver as a punching bag and my ribs as monkey bars.
I didn't start really showing, like I look pregnant instead of just "is she getting fat?" until last week at 21 weeks. My stomach was growing a lot and I was already wearing maternity pants by 14 weeks (b/c I wear my pants tight as is, so any gain I couldn't button them) but I didn't look pregnant yet. So maybe in the next few weeks you will "pop". It happened suddenly for me.
I felt my first "flutters" or whatever you call it around 18 weeks. It was like gas bubbles so I am still not sure if it was the baby or gas to be honest. I have no idea. However right at 19 weeks, I felt my first kick. It was right below my belly button and it felt like someone thumped me from the inside. If that makes sense. I felt her maybe once a day after that, the same feeling, up until 21 weeks. Now I feel her very consistently. To me it feels like thumps from the inside and when she turns, it feels like a snake in my stomach. LOL I don't know how else to describe it! Sometimes the movements are weird, but it's nice to feel her now.

1. I was about 23-24 weeks before I showed and even then I was told over and over that I didn't look as far along as I was until I was 8 months pregnant.
2. I had an anterior placenta so I didn't feel her move unil 23 weeks and never saw her move on the outside of my belly. The placenta blocked all that. Ask your tech if you have an anterior placenta...
1. I need to look at my pictures to see when I really "popped". I was already showing by 19 weeks though. Like you said, everyone's different. You may have a longer torso therefore the belly doesn't have to come out as much.
2. I think it was around 15 or 16 weeks when I first felt him moving. It felt like a butterfly lightly tickling me and then around 21 weeks, I started feeling kicks.

I didn't get stranger comments with DD until I was 27ish weeks. I was about 23-23 with this kiddo before people could tell. Yes, those who knew me could see a difference, but overall people didn't notice. With DD I had an u/s tech argue with me at 19w that I was even pregnant...she thought it was nuts that I was and you couldn't tell at all.
As far as movement goes, everyone is different. In the next 2-4 weeks you should feel something you know without a doubt is baby movement. Enjoy it, there's nothing like feeling your baby move.
1. Around 18 weeks, I was at the airport and had a fitted shirt on & the security person asked if I was pregnant. My belly was still soft then but had started to round out some, so I guess I was starting to show. I popped & started showing in any type of clothing around 20-22 weeks. But now I'm at 32 weeks and if I click on the many 32 week belly PIPs on the 3rd Tri & August Mommies boards, I see women whose bellies are WAY smaller and WAY bigger than mine, even though their body type/frame seems to be similar to mine.
2. For me, the movement felt more like bubbles than butterflies or flutters. That started happening around 21-22 weeks as well. I think it was 26 weeks that DH felt/saw her move from the outside for the first time, and by 28-30 weeks movement was much bigger, more frequent & more visible.
1. well, i pretty much look pregnant even when i'm not (i carry all my weight in a big ball in front. le sigh) so i showed early- or just stopped sucking my gut in early is more like it
2. i didn't feel T until like 20-22 weeks. maybe i did but didn't know it. he was very active but not a super kicker, so he was probably moving around and i didn't know what it was b/c it wasn't obvious.
with M, i had anterior placenta so i didn't feel him until late even though i knew more about what i was looking for.
it feels like gas, like little bubbles popping in your abdomen. if you're gassy in pregnancy (like i was. awesomeness again) you might take longer to be able to differentiate the two.
I think I showed early. If I remember right, I went to a babyshower in July and I was about as far along and had a baby-belly. ((I could have totally looked like fat, though, and I was in denial)). Of course...I also had a BIG baby so maybe I did pop early because of that.
I felt him move at about 18 weeks, I think. To me it felt like being thumped from the inside out.
1. I started really showing at 24 weeks. You could not tell I was pregnant at 19 weeks. I just looked a little thicker.
2. At 19 weeks the baby will feel like a light flutter but I was only able to feel that if I was wearing something tight. I did not breakdown and buy maternity until 24 weeks.

I started showing around 22 weeks but didn't have any "strangers" notice that I was pregnant until closer to 25/26 weeks. I'm 6' so even at 7/8 months pregnant I didn't look *that* pregnant.
I don't think I realized what I was feeling until closer to 20 weeks. One day I finally realized what that "darn gas bubble" was.
1. I still wonder if I am showing or if I just look fat, but people at work say I'm showing. I think at 23 weeks I could tell I had a bump.
2. At about 20 weeks I felt a huge kick and knew it was a kick.
1. I didn't show to strangers until around 22 weeks.
2, I felt Joe kick around 17 weeks. It felt like how it does when you rub your tongue on the inside of your mouth.
I don't know when I started really showing with DS.
I had an anterior placenta and it took till 24 weeks or more before I realized I was feeling him.
Here's the trick: Lay in a bathtub of water and stare at you belly! I was doing that one day and I saw him move (the water rippled after he moved) and that was the light bulb moment where I realized what him moving felt like and that I had been feeling him move.
With #1, didn't really show until around 21-22 weeks, didn't have people comment on pregnancy until about 27 though.
I didn't feel #1 move until about 22 weeks.
#2 - totally faster on both questions.
I had to go back to my pictures to really remember when I started showing which was more around 27 weeks. At 23 wks I had a bump, but could even hide it then thanks to bulky winter clothes
.
Movement I felt somewhere around 17-18wks but you could not feel it from the outside until closer to 21 wks.
Here is a picture at 19 wks 2 days
and another at 27 wks
2. Last time, I felt him around 19 or 20 weeks. I thought it felt like a little frog was swimming around in there, with his legs rubbing my belly. Strange but that's the only thing I could come up with to describe it. I felt this one a bit earlier but not nearly as early as some people (kat!).
I don't remember when I started showing.
The first time I felt Avery move, it felt like I was on a rollercoaster, but in a good way.

I was showing to family around 15-16 weeks... but I could still fit in my pants and such, they just know how I look. It was more obvious around 20 weeks... But I didn't really get stranger comments until around 27ish weeks when I finally really popped (I got one or two earlier, when I wore a particular maternity dress that makes me look super pregnant.)
Now I get comments all. the. time. and my belly is huge -- I have a big one in there.
Movement.. I felt a little scrabbling like movement around 15-16 weeks, but then I felt really nothing until 20-21 weeks. I have an anterior placenta, so it's pretty muted. Nowadays I still sometimes don't feel her when she's just squirming around, although she's definitely a lot stronger. It hurts when I get a heel dragged across my belly. Around 24 weeks her favorite gave was bouncing on my bladder.
1. I didn't show to strangers until about 21-22 weeks. I could stick my belly out pretty far at 17-18 weeks, but if you didn't know me it wouldn't have looked like I was pg.
2. I first felt him about 15 weeks, and only once or twice a day and I had to be sitting really still for a while to feel it. It felt like a little bubble popping really low in my belly, that wasn't followed by a fart.
I SAW him kick me for the first time at 18 weeks on Father's Day. I would try just laying really still and staring at your belly for a little while and see if you can see the baby move.
1. Like Viula, I carry most of my weight in my belly, so I just started wearing maternity shirts really early. Between the baby and my usual shape, I looked pretty pregnant early on!
2. The first time I felt him, it was pretty late, around 21 or 22 weeks. I still remember it--I was on a plane, when we were on our way back to Houston from my nephew's bar mitzvah on Long Island. We were descending and just about to land when I felt him. At first I thought it was just my tummy reacting to the motion of the plane, but then I felt it again after we landed. It felt kind of like gas.
With my first I was into my sixth month before I even felt like I was pg - here is a picture at 24 weeks, I have a long torso and was in pretty good shape back then so I think that was the reason:
I didn't really start showing till 22/23 wks. Most people didn't even notice till I was around 27.
I started feeling him around 22 weeks. I could lay flat on my back and see him move more than anything. Looked like I had my own ocean wave scene in my belly!
This is a picture of me when I was pregnant with Sarah - 4 days before I delivered at 33 weeks
And 3 weeks before delivering Jacob so I was 32weeks here.
I didn't really *know* I was feeling Sarah move until I went for an ultrasound and could see and feel her move at the same time. I thought I just had gas bubbles :-)
