NEFF: armpit funk

lol, gotta love the title right???

but seriously.... dh just got a new job (a REAL job where he has to dress up) however.... the a/c is minimal and while he is training he has to do a lot of manual stuff.... so my dh, who is a sweater anyway, is sweating big time... in his NICE dress shirts... :-(

he's on week 2 of the new job and i have been ironing his shirts every night and haven't noticed any funk, until tonight.... omg.. i seriously thought maybe i didn't wash the shirt... but then i went to another one... and there it was again....

how do i get rid of this???  did i just not use enough detergent?  do i need some kind of spray to spray his shirts down before washing?  i told him to bring deodorant w/him and reapply at lunch lol.  i don't know what to do for this... this is totally foreign to me in the world of laundry.  i've just never had this issue with any of his clothes before and i'm worried that his dress shirts will be ruined or something.  plus i don't want him to be the new stinky guy at work either ya know???

help me out girls!

  • you had to know this would be the answer, right?...  our good old friend white vinegar does wonders!  you can just spray it right on the area before you launder.

so don't spray it and let it sit overnight or anything, just give it a spray before i throw it in the washer?
