No, it's not any day now actually...

I keep getting the following comment from strangers "Ohh, looks like you're ready to go any day now. When are you due?"

When I tell them that I'm due on August 27th, their eyes bulge and then glaze over. It's literally like the scene from Knocked Up when Katherine Heigl keeps having to tell everyone that she's actually got 2 more months left. I can't imagine what I'll look like by then! Sighhh. At least they mean well...and help me with groceries! :-)

    I'm right there with you.  Even down to the due date!  I can't imagine what people are going to say when I am to the any day now point!

    Me too! It's like that every morning when I arrive at the office "Are you still here?" (state the obvious, really?) to at the gym every night "You look like you are about to pop!" It's giving me a complex. I have only gained about 20 pounds, so it's not like I'm even that huge. Really, I have 3 weeks left thank you, but those same people seem to comment daily. If I could change my anwer I would!

    Lucky!  I've gained over 40lbs!  Anyway, when I was only like about 34 weeks, this lady in target said it looked like I was going to have the baby tomorrow.  I was just like "no, actually, not for a few more at least" and half smiled.

    People have been saying that to me for the last month and a half - now they just ask when I'm due and when I tell them July 27th their eyes bug out and they tell me how bad they feel for me...people are awesome. lol

    This is exactly what I am hearing all the time also!  "You look like your about to POP!"  I just want to say "come see me in August and then you can say that."

    Totally agree. I'm only 28 weeks and people are already commenting to me that I must be due soon, and then they ask my due date, and I tell them Sept 19th, and I get a surprised look and, "Oh, awhile to go yet!" No ***t Sherlock. Thanks for making me feel even larger and more depressed about it. I've already gained 35 pounds and people assume that I must just be pigging out and will comment that I must just be eating whatever I want. Um, actually, I probably eat healthier than I did before, and I'm still exercising. A body will put on what it will put on.
